In the heart of the COVID pandemic, while businesses across Southern Alberta were reeling, Barrel N’ Brew in was born in Lethbridge.

Established in 2020, this entrepreneurial venture is the perfect example of turning lemons into lemonade... or should I say, barley into carefully crafted beer. Despite facing some challenges and setbacks, Crystal and Rob Scheit found a way to turn their passion and favourite pastime into a family owned and operated enterprise, while at the same time helping local businesses across Alberta. Their inspiration for at home tastings came to life.

These delightful care packages provide customers with unique offerings from local businesses across Alberta; including but not limited to local Craft Beer selections from Spectrum Ale Works, Longview Beef Jerky, Giusti Asolo Prosecco, Rebel BBQ Sauces & Rub, Whips caramels, Wild Rose Candles, The Red Seed, Barrel N’ Brew swag, Ryder Wines, Going Nuts Sweet and Salty Mixture and Twigz pretzels. The company has subscribers throughout Alberta and has engaged a wide range of local suppliers, vendors and organizations.

Be it a corporate event gift, special occasion or monthly subscription box, customers can indulge in a variety of hops, tannins and carbonated sodas, meanwhile satisfy their tastebuds with an assortment of goodies.

After all the isolation and shut downs, who couldn’t use an excuse for an at-home date night! Am I right?

The even better news for all of us family friendly homes out there, is that they provide a Soda Gift Box that includes bath bombs, kettle corn, travel card games and Bootsma Bakery Cookies! The perfect recipe for a family movie night, if you ask me.

I encourage you all to browse, select, purchase, so that you too can bask in the glory of salty and savoury snacks, tantalizing beverages and some melt in your mouth goodness. Time for us all to relax and enjoy.
